Use of Silversnowbal For Good Luck

Silversnowbal is a jewelry making technique that is practiced by the Drukpa Kunzang dynasty. It is inspired by ancient Feng Shui methods and is used to enhance fertility and attraction to luck and success. The term "silversnow" was derived from the animals that are brought out to bring the Goddess back into the house after a period of absence. The animal will become a representation of the deer that is then transformed into an image of a snowy white lotus flower.

During the initial phase of Silversnowbal, the plucked animal is carried around the house and put inside small boxes. Every time a person opens up the box, the lotus is revealed. This is done so that the Lady can give birth to a child. When this practice has been maintained for some time, the animals in the boxes will begin to emit an aura similar to the deer.

At the end of the seventh year of Silversnowbal, the idea of drawing lots will be utilized in order to decide who will carry on the "lotus" practice and who will not carry it. The luck line-up will be decided by using figures that are representative of different elements.

If one wishes to have good luck, they may have more than one box. Each box will contain different objects that may include anything from an emerald to a heart. This will help to bring good luck and prosperity into the house.

The fire element represents happiness, love and passion. It is represented by a brooch that has been given to someone in gratitude for their assistance in a business deal.

The water element is used to symbolize hope, health and wealth. Water is represented by such things as a vase that is full of rainwater and a flame that has been exposed to flames.

The earth element is represented by the human body, and the zodiacal sign that represents it. These are the figures which are drawn and placed in the boxes with the animals.
