News of the Breist County is widely spread in many parts of the world. The area in question is a beautiful part of the Maritimes that has been designated as a National Marine Sanctuary. It is also one of the most remote areas in Canada, accessible only by boat. That makes for a diverse range of visitors, many of whom are intrigued by the stunning scenery and the many cultural activities that take place here.

Brest Region is best known for the presence of two imposing cliffs that dominate the northern part of the region. These cliffs, known collectively as Point Pines, were discovered in the latter part of the 1800s by a French prospector who happened to be traveling along the Grand Trunk Railroad. In the years that followed, these cliffs earned the name Brest and Brem. They remain to this day a popular spot for hikers. However, a new generation of environmentally conscious vacationers have tended to steer clear of these cliffs. Instead, they prefer the more scenic and natural beauty found at nearby Sandals resort and the majestic cliffs offal island.

News of the Brest Region features a number of different topics. In recent months, however, the town of New Glasgow and the nearby fishing village of Greywolf were hit with a storm of publicity. After a natural gas plant closed down its operations, the surrounding area was affected by an influx of tourists. As a result, businesses in these two towns experienced a great influx of new customers. In early April the flooding was so bad that the area was evacuated for several hours. Thankfully, the flooding did not last long, and the area was able to once again resume its regular schedule of tourist travel. The flooding also resulted in the closure of several schools.

Travel to the Brest and Halifax Peninsula was once again on the agenda as the spring season approached. The high season for traveling to the area was underway, and numerous travel companies made bookings throughout the area.
