If you are looking to find a group of buskers performing on Grafton Street, you are going to come across many. Some will come up and start talking to you. Others may not be so friendly but still want to sell you something or tell you about what they do. And then there are some that you would like to avoid.

As with everything else, there are good and bad buskers out there. I have seen some that I would not approach. I have also seen some that I would walk up and talk to. As with anything, it all depends on what you are looking for. So where do you find the good buskers?

First, you need to get to Grafton Street and visit the different buskers that you can see. I would recommend that you take the express bus. You will not only get to see more buskers, but you will also get to go at your own pace. It is the fastest way to tour the whole area of buskers. You might want to consider hiring a taxi though if you do not have cash on you.

Secondly, go up and talk to the busker you spot. While this may seem odd or even impersonal, it is in fact a very effective way to get the information that you want. If you cannot approach the busker directly, ask to speak with the owner of the establishment.

Thirdly, try to find a place that you can frequent quite regularly and spend some time watching the buskers. It may sound counterproductive, but spending time is something that we all need in order to become better at our craft. If you can spend time watching a busker each day, chances are that you will learn more about them and possibly be inspired to start making your own shows someday. Just make sure that you are watching out for those that are poor performers and not just the nice ones. If you spot a pretty girl trying to push a kid on a bike, you may want to walk over and let her know that you think she is a little crazy.

The last, but certainly not least important thing that you need to do to find the good Grafton street buskers is to ask around. Get your friends, family, neighbors and coworkers to let you know of any good busker in the area. Chances are that you will be able to find at least one.
